Pumps & Service Named Compliance Controls Distributor For Colorado Plateau Four Corners Region

Compliance Controls Corporation – www.compliancecontrols.com – Tulsa, Oklahoma – Compliance Controls Corporation has named Farmington, NM based Pumps and Service Corporation its authorized sales, service and stocking distributor for Compliance Controls air-to-fuel ratio control products for industrial natural gas engines. Pumps and Service will represent Compliance Controls throughout the Four Corners/Colorado Plateau region of Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah.

“With headquarters in Farmington and a store in Albuquerque – as well as excellent contacts in the area – Pumps and Service provides the superior level of coverage we’re seeking for our air-fuel control products,” says Compliance Controls VP/Sales, Bill Clary. “Field Service capabilities are also excellent. The company has a high overall level of “know-how” in computerized engine control systems” Clary adds. “The Compliance Controls MEC-R,L, and FI products will complement the existing product lines sold by Pumps and Service including ignition systems, gauges, control panels, and service for engines and compressors.”

Pumps and Service was founded in 1978 and is part of Henry Production, Inc. (approximately 150 employees). According to owner, Sam Henry, key players for the Compliance Controls product are Brian Hensley, Pumps and Service Sales Manager with Allen Oldham and J.T. Wiebe assuming primary account management responsibilities.

Compliance Controls MEC-R helps reduce regulated pollutants such as oxides of nitrogen, carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons for rich-burn, carbureted, spark-ignited natural gas engines equipped with a 3-way catalyst. The controller minimizes fuel consumption while maximizing catalyst performance for precise, continuous compliance.

For lean-burn, carbureted, spark ignited gas engines, Compliance Controls MEC-L controls fuels with a variety of valve authority arrangements while reducing lean-burn engine maintenance costs and enhancing performance and fuel economy.

Compliance Control’s newest product – the MEC-FI – provides air fuel ratio control for lean burn turbocharged fuel-injected engines. Based on the Millennium Controller from FWMurphy, the MEC-FI continuously monitors inputs and set points and regulates fuel system air-flow to achieve optimum lean-burn air-fuel mix over a range of operating conditions.
